Welcome to Canela
Every morning begins with slow-braised meats and coffee worth slowing down for. Canela is not another breakfast restaurant — it is a destination. A place where modern flavors meet unhurried hospitality, where cocktails are crafted with the same care as the food, and where the room itself tells you that something special is about to happen.
Brunch Cocktails
Brunch without a cocktail is just breakfast. Our bar program treats the morning drink with the same reverence as a fine dining kitchen treats a course — each one built, not poured. Ask your server which one pairs best with what you're having.
House espresso, Licor 43, cold brew vodka, and a touch of vanilla. Shaken until silky. Garnished with three coffee beans — health, wealth, and happiness.
The Spanish morning classic. Licor 43 and a double shot of our house espresso, served over a single large ice cube with a cinnamon stick.
Vodka, house tomato mix, fresh lime, and a salted rim built with chamoy and Tajin. garnished with a pickled jalapeno and grape tomato.
Three sparkling pours: classic orange, mango-habanero, and hibiscus-jalapeno. Served with a flight board and fresh fruit.

Our Story
Canela was born from a simple belief: that the best mornings are never rushed. That a meal shared slowly, with people you love, in a room that feels like home, that is not just breakfast. That is memory-making.
We started with masa, hand-pressed and fresh, with plans to bring it to the table every weekend. Then came the braises: meats simmered low and slow until they fall apart with a glance. The salsas, roasted in small batches. The coffee, sourced from growers who treat each bean like a promise.
None of this is fast. None of it is easy. But we believe that the things worth experiencing rarely are.
"Canela" means cinnamon, the warm, quiet spice that lives in cafe de olla, in slow-simmered moles, in the air of a kitchen where someone you love is cooking.
We are family-owned. We are community-rooted. We are here to give Longview a place worth waking up early for: a place where hospitality is not a transaction but a tradition.
